The age of stupid is a beautifully made movie which mixes an interesting sci-fi frame to a very real documentary about the absurdity of some of our actions and how, in the future, our time could be seen as the age of wars, waste and ignorance, hence the title: The Age of Stupid.

It shows the lives of different people all over the world and how they have been affected by some of the issues of our times. Two children who ran from Iraq, playing; a man who survived Katrina, fishing; a mountain climber in the Alps, and a woman from Kenya who wants to be a doctor and whose livelihood has been destroyed by oil companies, but who finds herself selling fuel to pay for college, among others.

The movie feels surprisingly non-preachy, choosing instead, to teach by bringing us into the lives of others and educating us about our choices. Watch the trailer below for more information.
