This series consists of videos that honor disabled dancers. They are a testament that when one finds what really matters to them, no obstacles can stop them from accomplishing greatness. All of the amazing pieces below were performed by handicapped dancers. Buddha with one thousand hands. Performed by all deaf dancers from China's Disabled Peoples Performance Art Troupe which was founded in 1987 and has since traveled the world: The beautifully strong ballet of Dave Toole. An incredible dancer from DV8 Physical Theater who has no legs, but can can flow like a poem. (Excerpt from "the Cost of Living") Rumba, beautifully danced by Piotr Iwanicki (on the wheelchair) and Dorota Janowska during the wheelchair dance sport competition.

We support most of our projects with proceeds from our store. Our store is supplied mostly by fair trade, organic or small community projects. A large percentage of the sales go to charities in the same area, for a total investment of 40-50% of the total price directly affecting those communities. |
