Brooklyn resident Kenny Bruno is currently Campaign Coordinator at Corporate Ethics International, where he coordinates a large network of groups fighting the expansion of dirty fuels. He has worked for Greenpeace US and Greenpeace International, CorpWatch, EarthRights International, Environmental Health Fund and Oil Change International, and consulted for many other environmental organizations, as well as Seventh Generation. He is the co-author of two books, “Greenwash: The Reality Behind Corporate Environmentalism” and “earthsummit.biz: The Corporate Takeover of Sustainable Development” and the co-founder of the Amazon School for Human Rights and the Environment in Ecuador and the Senen Soi School for Indigenous Rights in Peru. Kenny’s areas of specialty include toxic chemical policy, the oil industry, indigenous rights and environmental in the Amazon and corporate accountability. He is also a Board Member of Students for a Free Tibet.

We support most of our projects with proceeds from our store. Our store is supplied mostly by fair trade, organic or small community projects. A large percentage of the sales go to charities in the same area, for a total investment of 40-50% of the total price directly affecting those communities. |
