We decided to join forces with Kiva, a group that organizes micro loans from people like you and I to help small communities all over the world for as little as $25. You choose who to lend to - whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq - and as they repay their loan, you get your money back. As much as 97.8% of the loans have been re-paid.

A percentage of the purchases from our store (beholdersgroup.com) will also be directed to microloans and we as individuals will also be making donations. We hope you join us in this project. It's a powerful and sustainable way to empower someone right now to lift themselves out of poverty.

Our store is supplied mostly by fair trade, organic or small community projects. A large percentage of the sales go to charities in the same area, for a total investment of 40-50% of the total price directly affecting those communities.
